The Galvanizing Process

GALVANIZING - The Superior Choice

Hot dip galvanizing steel is lower in cost than most other commonly used protective steel coatings. It requires less maintenance during the lifetime of a structure and has a life expectancy in excess of 50 years. The galvanizing process provides a metallurgical bond between the zinc coating and the steel. This process is regulated by ASTM standards to ensure the optimal outcome for all projects.

Silver City Galvanizing opened its doors in June 1993, and has since been serving the galvanizing needs of major construction and infrastructure projects in Western Canada and the US. Our commitment to “getting it done” has allowed us to secure some of the largest projects in BC and beyond.
